Prof. Veaceslav Moșin

Prof. Veaceslav Moșin is a Senior Category Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Expert and Pioneer in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Doctor in Medical Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences, University Professor at the "Nicolae Testemițanu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

Prof. Moșin was fundamental in the establishment of the First IVF Laboratory in the Republic of Moldova in 1995. In 1995, the first pregnancy was achieved, and in 1996 the first child was born using the IVF method.

Prof. Moșin has undergone numerous internships and courses in the field. He is a two-time graduate of the Fulbright research and professional exchange programs, at John Hopkins University, Baltimore, New York, United States of America (2005, 2008). He obtained an Advanced Diploma in Reproductive Medicine and Reproductive Biology (University of Geneva, 1997), and completed the International Course in Family Planning, Sexual and Reproductive Health (Netherlands School of Public Health, 1996).

Throughout his career, Prof. Moșin has published over 300 scientific papers, of which 26 are monographs, books, manuals, and teaching materials. He is an active member of the ESHRE association (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology).
