Natural Cycle IVF
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in Natural Cycle is a fertility treatment that utilizes the same process as conventional IVF but does not involve the use of ovarian hormone stimulation to produce multiple eggs. Current medical literature shows acceptable clinical pregnancy rates using Natural Cycle IVF, ranging from 15-25% per embryo transfer.

• For patients with a history of hormone-sensitive cancer or with a family history of cancer
What are the disadvantages?
• The success rate per cycle is lower than that of conventional IVF
• In only 50-70% of cycles, an embryo will be available to be transferred to the uterus
• Only one egg is retrieved, and therefore, you will have a maximum of one embryo if the egg fertilizes normally
• Usually, there are no surplus embryos for cryopreservation (to be frozen)
• About 30% of cycles have to be cancelled due to premature ovulation
