About
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a method of infertility treatment when other methods have failed, are not applicable, or when the couple chooses IVF as the first treatment option. The success rates for conventional IVF are the highest and vary depending on age, ranging from 35-50% .
Classic IVF involves hormonal stimulation with gonadotropins . The purpose of ovarian stimulation is to develop multiple oocytes simultaneously (naturally, a woman's body releases a single oocyte each month). The duration of hormonal treatment varies from patient to patient, typically lasting 8-12 days . The treatment requires ultrasound monitoring and blood tests for potential dosage adjustments and the planning of oocyte retrieval.
Additionally, adjuvant medications are necessary : GnRH agonists or antagonists (to prevent premature ovulation) and chorionic gonadotropin (for ovulation induction).
Steps
Stage I. Ovarian Stimulation
• Individual selection of the ovarian stimulation protocol;
• Medical consultations during the IVF stimulation cycle;
• Ultrasound monitoring during ovarian stimulation;
• Hormonal tests (estradiol, progesterone, prolactin) as needed;
• Providing the patient with the necessary medications from the start of ovarian stimulation to ovarian puncture.
Stage II. Ovarian Puncture
• Ultrasound-guided ovarian follicle puncture;
• Oocyte retrieval;
• Anesthesia;
• Post-procedure recovery;
• Consultation and ultrasound after ovarian puncture.
Stage III. Embryology and Andrology Laboratory
• Processing of oocytes;
• Processing of sperm;
• Standard oocyte fertilization;
• Intracytoplasmic sperm injection – ICSI;
• Cultivation of embryos in individual chambers in the incubator;
• Blastocyst culture;
• Laser-assisted hatching.
Stage IV. Embryo Transfer
• Embryo transfer with ultrasound guidance, microvolume, optimized;
• Post-procedure recovery;
• Post-transfer consultation;
• Providing the necessary medications to support the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle.

Stage I. Ovarian Stimulation: 24,000 MDL
Stage II. Ovarian Puncture: 7,000 MDL
Stage III. Embryology Laboratory: 31,000 MDL
Stage IV. Embryo Transfer and Luteal Phase Hormonal Support: 10,000 MDL
Total: 72,000+ MDL
Pre-IVF tests are not included in the price.
Payment is made in installments, before the execution of each stage.
Note: MDL is the abbreviation for the Moldovan Leu, the currency of Moldova.
Cryopreservation and Embryo Storage Prices:
– Cryopreservation: 5,000 MDL per batch (up to 3 embryos);
– Storage: Monthly fee of 200 MDL per batch.
Discounts
If the first IVF attempt failed, a discount will be offered for the following IVF cycles:
-10% for the second IVF package;
-15% for the third IVF package;
-20% for the fourth IVF package and beyond.”
